Border (Albury/Wodonga) Relay For Life, Australia, Saturday, 27. October 2018

Border Relay For Life is a community fundraising challenge for Cancer Council. Teams of friends, families and colleagues raise money in the lead up to the overnight event, in which team members take turns in walking around Birallee Oval to signify that cancer never sleeps - so neither do we.

Organised by passionate, local volunteers, the Border Relay is an experience that will stay with you forever. The Committee host activities designed to celebrate Survivors and recognise their Carers. We honour those we've lost during our candlelight ceremony, and we continue to raise funds for people affected by cancer, fund world class research, improve cancer prevention and implement local support services to help our local cancer patients through their cancer journey.

Everyone is welcome at Border Relay For Life! No matter your age or ability, you can take part however you like by walking, jogging, running, wheeling or even dancing - it's YOUR Relay For Life!

You can also expect at Border Relay:
- A fun Kids Zone to keep the little ones entertained
- A delicious morning tea hosted for all our Survivors and Carers
- A great variety of local, talented bands and musicians rocking the stage
- A great range of 'on the day' competitions to keep teams busy
- Delicious food options
- Plus loads more!

With an estimated 134,000 new cases of cancer expected to be diagnosed in Australia this year, we need every Australian to rally behind Relay For Life to help continue this vital work.

Be apart of the movement and join Border Relay For Life today!
