This session is targeted at team leaders and managers of support coordination teams. This session will explore elements of good practice in coaching and developing support coordination teams.
The learning objectives of this interactive workshop are to:


Recognise key concepts within the business of Support Coordination, including caseloads, viability, workflow and resourcing


Support and coach Support Coordinators to focus on quality, outcomes and goal focused support design


Suitably delegate authority to Support Coordinators


Understand your responsibilities in relation to tracking and billing, information management and reporting to NDIA


Determine how to prioritise your efforts when managing crisis and risk including mandatory reporting


Confidently explain to Support Coordinators and your organisation how to manage conflict of interest


Understand how to develop practice in a busy environment, aligning supervision and professional development


Identify key considerations in recruitment, induction and training


Reflect on what it takes to excel in leading Support Coordination teams
