Mindfulness and Breath, Om Shanti Yoga Studio, Friday, 26. July 2019

Are you aware of how you breathe? Whether you breathe into the chest, shoulders or belly? Do you perhaps reverse breath? Do you notice your breath in your day to day activities?
Breathing correctly is important to your health and well being, and lowering stress levels. It can also be a gateway to mindfulness and becoming more present in each part of your day, as you learn to calm the bussy mind.
In this 90 minute workshop, we will explore how we as individuals breathe, techniques to get us begining to take full breaths into our bellys, and using the breath as a bridge to mindfullness practice and meditaion.
There will be time for discussions and questions as well as practicing what we learn.
You do not have to have has any meditation experience or current mindfulness practice to enjoy this workshop. Cushions will be provided to sit on and chairs for those that need them.
This willl be an enjoyable experience without the pressure or expectation to be at a certain level of mindfulness or meditaion practice.
Herbal tea and refreshments will be provided.
